I LOVE DC! I have been lucky enough to live so near, that I can visit often. In fact, my first date with my cute husband was in DC. Even better, I got engaged from this exact spot on the side of the Jefferson Memorial. Needless to say, it is my favorite monument.

This weekend, we dropped of our little guy at my in-laws and headed to visit the Cherry Blossoms with some of our dear friends. We were about 5 days too early for the full peak and it was a rainy day, but we LOVED it! I love this time of year and been fortunate enough to visit the festival often.
I don't think there is any other place quite like DC.
